The goddess has provided us with a beautiful coat of sparkling silver and crystal white. The world is a wonderland of slowly shifting shapes and crisp cool colors, a sacred pristine sight as the morning sun adds it's paint to the white canvas outside my window. The sun creeps determined, yet patiently skyward...warming the world below. It's a humbling view.
I too feel her warmth, and stillness. It's a time of placid patience as the snow slips from it's icey perch. Calm, peace, & compliance...the natural order of winter as it gives way... time after time. Like the snow storm my creative maelstrom has passed. The surge of ideas has give way to a steady stream of substance.
I have gotten through the first set of Runic Workshops my first aett is finished... Currenly, I have begun on Hagalaz the hailstone and Nauthiz the need fire... they speak to me of change, neccessity & time. The slow melt of ice from the sun...and of course energy! Hmmmmm.... ice cream and smore's will be their exercise... sweet treats make for great workshop experience... and a lazy afternoon.

When thoughts run ramped ...magical things occur! I am now leveling out to a wonderful creative plateau. You should come & join me, the view is amazing! The cool crisp colors, all deep greens and magenta hues of blue. The air is electric, alive with ideas just waiting for someone to come and pluck them from the clouds. You can't help being creative here!
While I was on my plateau ... I was mulling over my rune workshop idea, when I remembered what one of my beautiful muses told me. " Forget about everything else, just teach for the joy of sharing your knowledge. Allow people to experience the Runes the way you do!" (this is not verbatim of course...but close)
So, I thought about it. How did I feel about learning, when did I learn the most and was it fun when I learned. I always believed that learning could & should be fun. Could such a serious and in depth subject be taught in such a way? Happily I found the answer to be a resounding, "Heck YES!"
I've only just begun, but the workshops are short, sweet and fun. I have a garden, a possible food fight (may have to substitute silly string for food though..LOL) and a treasure hunt! I figured why just learn about the runes why not experience them! Get all messy and sticky... make them relate to daily things we all understand... and have a blast doing it!
Well, that's the epiphany... it may not be big or monunmentally amazing but all epiphanies even little ones hold the opportuny to change peoples lives! So share them...

What a great day! Love Wednesday's besides the fact that it is named for the Great God Woden (aka: Odin) I love the middle day of the week. Working Wednesday... the day to accomplish all things large and small.
I am energized and ready, my brain has been swarming with wonderful ideas of Runes as of late. I have been working on a rather large runic course (5 series) which I'm quite proud of but I worry it may be to advanced to start beginners on.
I have found a wonderful book "Taking Up the Runes" by Dianna Paxson, that takes two runes a section, she even suggest it as a study guide. I have been toying with the idea that that I could do something similar a 12month or 6 month workshop series for the very beginners!
The workshops would be fun and hands on with out being cluttered and overwhelming. Best of all, after the workshops the students would have a nice base of runic knowledge. This would allow them to expand into my advanced divinational or magical courses!
Hahahahah as I stated I'm ramped with ideas, and being a Wednesday...getting a good working start should be a blast!!! Will keep you posted on my progress!
