Mah Jong Tiles the New Oracle

I may be on a bit of a sabattical currently as I go into deep hibernations till Imbolc... but I"m never dormant. I'm always working and studing new techniques and exploring new ideas. Currently I"ve gotten into a new form of divination.... I've not heard much of but it very instresting! Reading of Mah Jong tiles...

The energy from these tiles are wonderful.. and they are almost a link or a bridge between the Tarot and Runes. They have a very expressive feel to them like Tarot and their images... yet like the Runes the tiles are deep and full of meanings...not just what is viewed on the surface but a history. For example the 1 of Bamboo.. the lady looking into a mirror, or the peacock... it has a reflective quality that symbolizes the cosmos and morality but also could refer to vanity, beauty, success, pride. And like both the Tarot and Runes it's deeply rooted in the Chinese cultural myths and stories... even the Season tiles take there cues from great Chinese Philosphers like Chiang T'ai Kung and Confusious an more.

I've only begun my research and my journey with them so I have so much yet to learn but I find with both the Tarot and Runes under my belt it's not so hard to read as it's more the learning of their nuances and characteristics I need to learn... some tiles in certain placesments change meanings or enhances different meanings when they are next to each other. They have Elemental reference and I will be learning about the Chinese system quite a bit.. the view changes. They see as Red as Humanity, Man or Blue as Heaven and Green as Earth, and then the North, East , West, South directions and placements. I'm thoroughly enjoying the flood of information and the excitement of learning something new... I hope to be adding more information about this anciet divinational system as I learn it.

Tarot Card Spread Book?

Been really considering writting a Tarot Card Spread book again. There are so many spreads out there already...but everytime I look into them I find them lacking. There all flash and no substance or worse... created by people who you can tell are not avid readers. A means to and end...to get some money from unsupecting new readers trying to learn...they wind up getting these over done or underdone spreads that make no sense.

I would love to write a book of substance... a book to expand the mind and world of Card Craeft... I'd like to start on the newbie level but there are so many books out there now on it...my book would be lost in a sea of others. I'd like to focus on the advanced readers... or people looking to expand their knowledge. Explain how to read with 2 tarot decks... give more extensive and expansive spreads...

I have several large spreads and ideas for more. I even have spreads specifically geared toward young people who seem to be venturing into cards. I have had more clients as of late that their children/young adults have requested readings. This takes a special nack... and a bit of patience... the young people have more complicated lives in much different ways then adults, they require special spreads and in some cases special treatment. Kids gloves would be the best way to describe it.

These would be the things I would love to write about... but who would read it...who would by it...who would publish it... would it be worth my time? These are the unanswered questions...

Ah well... maybe someday....my brain is full of books and possiblities...not sure which one will catch on first and finally become reality... Hmmm now that would be a fun adventure!

Well... been updating things a bit on the site. Some great new links to people, businesses and I've just added a bunch of diagnostic drawing of Reiki Session/Treatment. Mind you be kind my art is was not intended to be pretty but more for exploration and informational purposes.

The pics you'll see and possible read are things that I see on a regular basis during Reiki or Chakra Treaments. I have jotted notes by them trying to explain what I see or what the client may have been feeling. I hope to be adding more soon as I have a whole case study on one client that will allow me to use his pictures... the progression and regression of the Treatment areas are mazing to view. I hope to be offering these diagnostic pictures to people as a service soon either for personal use or to Practitioners for possible professional use.

How great would it be to see a diagnostic picture of yourself or one of your clients (depending on what comes threw it could be an Aura viewing or Chakra or even Internal view of the body).... it can improve anyone's techniques by viewing a diagnostic picture of the process.. knowing where the issues are ..not just feeling the issues and guessing what is happening but also seeing what was or did happen... including areas of interest that may have been missed.

I could easily work with the Practitioner during a session or treatment viewing both the before and/or after. I could show them what I see, which they could use to move forward with some new wonderful information they may not have known before. Think of it as a Chakra/Aura or Energy Body X-ray!

Ahhh it's just an idea will see if anyone would be interested in it!

Please note...in this album I would like everyone to keep in mind that all the people in these session were fully clothed. To see these things people do not (DO NOT!!!) need to be naked...that's just bad juju.

This may be a day late and a dollar short but I just realized I had not officially thanked all the wonderful people that worked so hard to put on the SEMAPPD and the RIPPD... Thank you all!

SEMAPPD was fabulous! It started out as quite an adventure and ended with smiles full of sunshine! It was a great day for me personally, and I was so happy to see all my friends come to visit me at my booth and I apologize to all those that I could not read for. I was thrilled with meeting new and wonderful people again this year and seeing old favorites! I had some wonderful angels that cared for me with so much help...from stakes to hold down my leaking tarp to a helping hand and a screw driver... HUGE THANKS to my personal angel Cam! Hope to see you next year..I owe you a free reading!

As for my friends in RI I'm terribly sorry to have had to cancel. Due to a serious illness I was unable to attend this year. I hope you all can forgive me and I hope to be there next year!

Pagan Pride Day is almost HERE!!!!

Wow I didn't realize I haven't written in so long! I've been so busy...hahaha what's new!

Well since you asked... I've just put together my 2nd South Eastern Pagan Pride Day workshop...BOOH YA! Pumped... it's called "Blending the Runes: How to make your own personal powerful bind runes" very cool and snazzy if I don't say myself... Got some great info handouts and will try to not bore the sox off anyone...LOL

As well as that, I'm getting my booth stuff ready for tarot and rune readings there too... got myself a nice little spot in the back I believe where I was last year... So hoping to see some of you stop by for some readings or just a chit chat cautch up session!

After that I'll be swooshing on down to Rhode Island! Yeppers you heard me RI here I come...branching downward this time heading to the RI Pagan Pride Day on Sept.27th... again with my cards and table in hand...hoping to have some fun!

So that's it for now... all is well... October is almost here and readings are really picking up now... so I'm in full fall fantic mode! Woo hoo I'm "F" to the 3rd power.... and loving every minute...

Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum...the giant is almost done and soon down the hammers come! BOO YA!

Getting so pumped up for the next Rune Workshop: Thurisaz and Ansuz. The giant has come out awesome...HE'S HUGE! I can't wait... to experience Thurisaz's powerful forces with all of you ... and bring forth from the giants destruction, and pull in the inspirational powers of Ansuz.... MUUHHAAWWWW...

To all my good friends...enjoy!

Phew! It took me all night long and several days but the new Rune Workshop page is up and running.

I have only posted the first few workshops to give everyone and idea of what to expect and a taste of what to look forward too. I will post more as they get closer. These workshops were created to be fun and informative... to give a new intensity to learning about the runes with a much more hands on design for beginners to intermediates. The Rune Workshops are going to be a blast & everyone is sure to leave with a smile on their face!

Things to think about....

Well, still keeping busy... and old friend stopped by this weekend... So much to do so little time.

We went into herb mixing, chakras and crystals... it was a blast & fascinating stuff! I have been (still am) so focused on the Futhark and Card Reading that this pleasant jaunt into other possibilities.... was a re-wakener. As we chatted and discussed I couldn't help but think out of the box... and into the rune bag!

Working with stones and crystals really got to me...as I heard references to "absorbers" "senders" "transformers"....I drifted to which rune would fall into each of these categories...how could I use this information and the runes together... I wonder what information if any is already out there. Could I push the envelope?

The same with the herbs and chakras... I have been Rune Valdr attuned, and that was wonderful.... but again how to carry this one step further. Chakras are more Easter culture...and I've been mulling over the idea of a more Nordic Healing system using the Soul.... I wonder if they can be worked together? Soul & Body? Energy = Energy? Questions and idea...Hmmmm

All these possibilities are endless...thank the Goddess for that... I will have many more year to research and plenty to study! Phew.... so many adventures...hahahahaha... I hope I get to explore every single one! I would love to hear others ideas on this too... see what the collective could come up with!

New Love Spread just in time for February!

Phew! I just finished a new love spread for my website. I am quite proud of it, it's amazing and quite overwhelming. It a full 25 card spread that covers the querent's personal love issues, their Lover's issues, and their relationship. It's beautiful, I call it "The Four of Hearts Spread" because it works out to be one large heart and 4 small ones. Hmmm..wonder if someone has already come up with this one somewhere? Will have to look.

It encompasses the querent's, present love situation, future situation, how love is given and received, personal strengths,weaknesses, long & short term outcomes of the relationship, even how each person views each other and their relationship and that's just the beginning.... this is definitely a time consuming spread even with out questions asked at the end... better eat my Wheaties for this one!

Even though it's a long winded spread... from a mulitple reader's point of view, it rocks! I really have 2 spreads vs. one.... It's a personal & a multiple spread, most spreads can't be read in one of my group readings but this one can! Not all 25 cards of course that would be a personal reading but the first 16 work great for a group. I'm so thrilled, finally a group love reading!

Just in time too, between Imbolc, Valentine's Day and so many Bachelorette/Weddings coming up this is just what the love doctor ordered for a indepth Relationship/Love Reading! New loves, broken hearts, old friends or soulmates...this will definitly spice things up!

Wow, not sure what I'm more excited about the new spread or my rune workshops! Hmmmmm.... BOTH! As soon as I can write something up the 4HS will be going into the group reading and the personal sections on my website: www.cardcraeft.webs.com , so keep your eye out for the new spread.
