Placid Patience

The goddess has provided us with a beautiful coat of sparkling silver and crystal white.  The world is a wonderland of slowly shifting shapes and crisp cool colors, a sacred pristine sight as the morning sun adds it's paint to the white canvas outside my window.  The sun creeps determined, yet patiently skyward...warming the world below. It's a humbling view.

I too feel her warmth, and stillness. It's a time of placid patience as the snow slips from it's icey perch. Calm, peace, & compliance...the natural order of winter as it gives way... time after time.  Like the snow storm my creative maelstrom has passed.  The surge of ideas has give way to a steady stream of substance.

I have gotten through the first set of Runic Workshops my first aett is finished... Currenly, I have begun on Hagalaz the hailstone and Nauthiz the need fire... they speak to me of  change, neccessity & time.  The slow melt of ice from the sun...and of course energy!  Hmmmmm.... ice cream and smore's will be their exercise... sweet treats make for great workshop experience... and a lazy afternoon.
